  THE ADMIRAL by Medium Sunnie Brooks I recently had an extraordinary experience after giving a demonstration of mediumship in front of a standing room only crowd at the breathtakingly beautiful, historic Stage Neck Inn overlooking York Harbor in Maine. During the evening an audience member's grandfather came through to me in vivid detail. He made his presence known to me by announcing "battleship!". The audience member, Megan, recognised immediately that it was her grandfather who served on a submarine during World War II. This coincided with his saying to me "Tommy Dorsey" and I could hear Big Band music to denote the era. He showed me his handsome self, in his prime, with his prominent eyes, wearing his highly decorated cap indicating he was a high ranking naval officer. Megan confirmed that he had earned the rank of Rear Admiral prior to his retirement. His personality came through as very tough but fair, his mind sharp and highly knowledgeable about all facets of maritime management. He showed me many different areas of the submarine. He also expressed remorse over sending so many men to their deaths during war time. Megan was also able to confirm the Japan connection he indicated to me, that he had indeed been positioned in that area and in the South Pacific. The image he kept showing me of the sinking battleships impressed me with the remorse that Megan mentioned. "Grandpa" as he was called by Megan, told me she had two boys and that she had been "a bit soft on them". Megan looked and her husband sitting next to her, smiled and they both nodded yes in agreement. Grandpa expressed that he wished he had lived longer so that he could have had more influence on her two sons. He advised her to stay firm in her points of view with them and commended her for being a very good mother. Her grandfather showed me a framed picture of his wife and he impressed me with feelings of deep admiration, love and pride for his wife. Megan teared up and said "yes, they were soul mates". At the end of the evening Megan and her husband approached me in the crowd and invited me to visit Grandpa's summer house which was just up the road from the inn. The next day I met them at the house and there in the dining room was a large portrait of him looking right at me with those prominent eyes of his. It was truly rewarding and a bit startling to see the person I had communicated with from the spirit world looking directly at me in the painting. It is an experience that I will never forget and I am very grateful to Megan and her husband...and Grandpa for their hospitality. Postscript: While I was in Grandpa's house, the name Frank kept coming into my head, repeatedly. Megan and her husband did not know of any Frank but checked with her brother just after I left. Within moments, I received a text from Megan that Frank was the name of the neighbor that Grandpa was helping when he fell of his ladder which led to his passing. Frank wanted Megan and her family to know that he felt responsible and to express his deepest regret which gave Megan and her family comfort and enabled Frank to rest in peace.
